We visited a beautiful restaurant called Domaine Anna which gave us a wonderful feel for what Mauritius can offer, with the traditional Sega dance and live music.
Our visit to Caudan Waterfront was really picturesque with many places to buy your souvenirs in their own craft market.
The Blue Penny museum is a must as it is famous for its Blue Penny Stamp.

Your guide/driver will pick you up directly from your hotel lobby and whisk you away on a fun, guided shopping tour of Port Louis! Your spree will start with a visit to the city’s best mall, Bagatelle – a delightful mix of boutique shops, popular outlet stores as well as the big name luxury brands like Hugo Boss, Guess, Armani and many more. Take your time and enjoy a relaxed shopping experience in the cool, air conditioned environment of the mall. Have something specific in mind? Your guide will be on hand to help you find that special gift, assist with prices and recommend the best stores for what you need. Bagatelle has an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from so feel free to stop for a refreshing coffee & a sweet treat between stores, then when you’re ready choose from a selection of different restaurants and cuisines for lunch!

Visit the Home of Bargain Shopping & the Exceptional Glass Gallery
When you are ready to leave the mall we’ll set off for Curepipe, a small town with big shopping opportunities! Here you’ll find a selection of factory shops and luxury name brands such as Lacoste and Ralph Lauren – the area is truly a bargain paradise.
After perusing the stores and finding some great deals we will take a few minutes to visit another of the towns main attractions; Trou aux Cerf Volcano crater! It’s an impressive sight to behold and also offers excellent views of the town below.
Next we set off for our final stop of the day; the mesmerising Mauritius Glass Gallery. Here we have the opportunity to experience and learn about some of the island’s most talented glass blowing craftsmen. We’ll watch them in action, making delicate and intricate glass ornaments by hand and with special glass blowing tools. All the glass used is recycled and the artists are locals, making the experience all the more special! After the tour, we’ll proceed to the gallery to view a selection of finished pieces and make some purchases if desired.
When we’re ready, it’s time to board our transport and begin the short journey back to your hotel after a successful day of shopping, bargain hunting and art appreciation!

We had a 3 day stopover in Mauritius on our way to South Africa. We were welcomed by the chaffeur on our arrival at the airport after our long journey from Sydney. We had booked the shandrani hotel which was a 10 minute drive from the airport. We also booked the services of maurigold tours for the reverse airport transfer. Fantastic and reliable service. Mauritius has the most beautiful and challenging golf courses, in particular Mont Choisy, which every golf enthusiast would find a challenge.
With the help of Maurigold Tours we were able to get around very easily incorporating nature activities and other gold courses around the island.

Mes vacances se sont bien passées à Pereybere selon le programme au tout début. Avec le confinement’confinement’ on a du annuler la deuxième partie de notre séjour dans l’est sans frais d’annulation. Nous pûmes également admirer les tortues géantes vivant dans ce paradis préservé. Nous gardons un souvenir mémorable de l ‘accueil chaleureux et authentique des Rodriguais. Notre séjour se termina dans le cadre idyllique de l hôtel Royal Palm à Maurice où nous avons pu jouir de toutes les prestations de ce lieu luxueux et emblématique.
